Some new cards ( finally..)

Hello my wonderful blog readers, long time no post hunh? Well I am so sorry, but hopefully tonight will make up for my long absence. I have been sorting my items, getting rid of some of my excess stock or items that were just taking up space. I have been having some fun, with a little spare time, I've had just enough time to play with my Cricut Imagine and make some cards using my scraps pile.

This fun Cutie card I made with some old brown paper ( it might be bobunny) I had it on there already for a while. I layered on some Girls' Paperie papers, even cutting out some banners from paper and layering them on a bit of twine with a button. I used Glue Arts UCutIt foam to pop up the little banners. Then I added a button to the side. I used my Imagine to cut out the white scalloped paper and popped it up on the card using some UCutIt, after I embossed it with my Allegro Embossing folder. then I added on this glittered cutie sticker from Pink Paislee. lastly I added a couple brown gems to the sides of it.

See. up close and personal.. hee hee

For this pretty card I added some Pink Paislee to the background then I layered on a strip of Basic Grey. Then I layered the Teresa Collins over some punched white cardstock ( punch from Eksuccess) .  I layered on the manilla tag, faux stitched it too. I added a bit of my light green seam binding ( check out my etsy shop for new colors listed today!!) and added an orange button. I printed out the rose image from my Imagine (Country Carnival) and added some glitter to the flowers. I popped it up with some UCutIt foam, and then added the sideways greeting letters from Pink Paislee.

 ohhh.. glittery..

Free Spirit - this fun card came out of the pack of American Crafts glitter stickers. I added this piece of Pink Paislee ledger paper to an old piece of KI Memories paper and punched the side with my EK scallop punch. Then I handcut several clouds from Scenic Route graph paper. and popped some of them up with my UCutIt foam. I added my glitter stickers, then the Cosmo Cricket/American Crafts Vinyl letters and the SEI glittered heart.
 WHA LA!!  close up.
Last one for tonight, I still have a few more to share with you. but alas, dinner time is near. we are getting hammered with snow, sleet and freezing rain tonight. I'm pretty sure that the kids won't have school again tomorrow, sigh.

back to the card. I used some Echo Park paper on the background, and another one of those Maya Road banner canvas pieces. I added some twine bows to the eyelets. then I added a strip of Pink Paislee pleated ribbon underneath the banner.  I put on a circle doily- from the craft store, and cut out a circle from some Pink Paislee houndstooth paper, and a litttle tear our journal strip from the sweetness collection. I fake stitched across that too. Then I cut out the butterfly from some GCD studios paper, added a button and twine and finished with some Pink Paislee glitter letters.

prrrreeeetttyyyyyy....

viola! all done for this evening. be back soon with some more fun cards, thanks for dropping in today!!
take care.
