Some quick cards!

Hello Blogger friends! I cannot believe how fast this summer is flying by. I've taken so little time for myself, that it's been difficult finding time to even create a little something. I took some time on a super hot day last week to sort through my cardmaking items. I had two huge boxes of stuff I had put aside, yet never managed to even make a dent in them. I've sorted through, and added a nice basket of things to my desk, now they are at hand and hopefully when I have the time, I can create with them.
I made two quick cards the other day, hard to believe that in 3 months I haven't had the time to do that. With fall approaching I'm sure I'll have more time in the day to create tho.

first I wanted to share a pic of the girls in the pool. We looooooove our pool and I make time every afternoon to spend at least a couple hours in it. If you look over the girls shoulders, you can see a part of our wonderful view. Last weekend Chris and I spent some time taking a dip in the evenings and were treated to a beautiful fireworks show. We often have them, mostly on Sat. nights.

I created this card with some Imaginisce papers- Garden Party, a bit of corrugated cardboard I painted with sea foam green paint, and Imaginisce  punchouts and chipboard flower.
I used a Maya road label, and added a SRM Press sticker for the greeting. Then of course I couldn't leave it and had to add some of my beautiful crinkled ribbon. This is the Deep Aqua color. See the link to my shop at the top of the page!

Next is a different card for me. I used some Imaginisce Garden Party solid blue, and added that as a mat to a Maya Road envelope. I added the Animal Crackers Border over some of my Chestnut Crinkled Ribbon
I added a Girl's Paperie sticker block. then added some smaller stickers decending down the front.  I layered over some SRM Press stickers then added Amer. Crafts medallion stickers to finish.

thanks for dropping in, I hope your summer is going well!

Your cards are so gorgeous, I couldn't quit staring at them! Your girls are also sooo beautiful! Whenever I see photos of them I always think to myself "wow, they're so pretty!" I just don't think I've told you so yet! They look so much like you! :-)
