Glue Arts and Maya Road Banner

Today I have a super special share for you. I love the trend of banners that has been so popular, and when we were given Maya Road as a sponsor for this week with Glue Arts, I got out all my bits and pieces that I have gotten from them. Then I decided that whatever I made, it had to be soft, pastel, and pretty vintage. I started out with a banner album, then added the canvas banners too. When I saw I had quite a few, I thought about what word I should use on it. and Handmade was perfect. I put on some stamped images, some glittered raw chipboard, and other pretty pretty's. Basically I threw out my own rules and just did what I wanted here. AND I LOVE IT!! I now have this banner overhanging a small window in my office and it looks just perfect there! I hope you enjoy this one!

Designer Tip: I love to leave the ends after I've sewn, I think the extra threads add a homemade look to my designs, one that only looks even more shabby chic then clipping them.
