good morning- spring is on it's way

hello blog friends! thanks for coming by today. Today is finally a bit warmer, though the winds are gusty. I noticed our large maple is budding up, yay! that must mean that spring is on it's way. I will be so happy to see the last of the snow melt away. It may be pretty to see at first, but after a week, all the dirt has splashed up on it and we just have mostly dirty piles of snow everywhere. Not the gorgeous scenery I'd like to see around
town.

Some news I have to share today is that I am extending the sale on my crinkled seam binding ribbons- the $3 each pricing will go until the last day of February!! Please hop over to the store and see the colors I am selling, they are beautiful!!

I also have some other news to share- Anam Stubbington released the Sketches4Cards App (for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch) over the weekend and I’m excited to tell you that I’m one of the contributors.

Sketches4Cards is the Card version of the popular Sketches2Scrapbook App and will allow you to think creatively on the go with unique sketches and sample cards to keep you inspired. This Valentines release is full of beautiful cards with an emphasis on love and happiness as well as a huge range of other topics! Sketches4Cards is a way to give you more time and space to make all the cards you need by keeping all the sketches you need at your fingertips.
The Full version has 104 awesome sketches plus the 12 free sketches and you can buy it here for just $4.99. And the free version has new 12 sketches to try out and you can download it here.

I can only share my card using the sketch, not the sketch itself. but i love how it turned out.
I used some Girls Paperie papers, a swirl glitter sticker from Pink Paislee, a couple of Petaloo flowers, a large prima flowers I sprayed with green mister. some berry stems, and a sheer ribbon with several buttons on the card.

If you like the card, check out the sketched app for your phone!!

come back soon!

Beautiful card! KateB isn't the only one without a smart phone, I don't have one either. I just have my trusty old flip phone that I can talk on, text on and take pic with. It's all I know how to do, too much technology confuses me! LOL!

Gorgeous card with lots of fun patterns on it. I love the colors. And I don't have a smart phone, either. I have a blackberry, but have yet to learn how to use apps or any of that. I'm so technologically challenged. Sigh....
