Gcd Studios

Good morning friends! I have a couple fun cards I made to share with you today. Gcd is currently looking for new designers for their team, and is having a design team call if you want to try out for it. Sadly, my time on the team is over at the end of the month, so now I can just design with the awesome product as I feel like!! Don't feel sad for me, as I realized several months ago that my time has been seriously overbooked and I needed to allow some things to be let go. With the new year I knew that some design teams would be adding in fresh new members and I'm ok with that. Now I feel like I have a good amount of teams, not too many. And I'm hoping that this opens up more for me, perhaps once again I will have time to participate in challenge blogs, submit for more publishing and guest designerships.
First I want to share an older Cricut project. We've been given the go ahead to share our older projects and I am just so excited to do that.
I just want to say again, this is a project I made especially for the Cricut Circle Blog. If you want further information, details, instructions and more, you can go HERE to sign up to be a Circle Member!

I cannot share too much info- you'd have to be a member of the Cricut Circle Blog- you can sign up HERE. But I will tell you I used beautiful Cosmo Cricket Pixielicious Papers, and Cindy Loo and Elegant Cakes Carts.
next I have several cards I made with some scraps of the GCD studios line- FunHouse.

I used the funhouse papers, cutting out the medallion from one and popping it up with my Glue Arts UCutIt foam. Then stamped the large butterfly and sentiment using some new Inkadinkado stamps. I used a Tim Holtz ink- which is kind of faded and blurry, adds character to the card!
Then I tied a nice bow with some of my Etsy store seam binding ribbon, and added several of those small roses from Prima. I cut the stamped sentiment into a card, and glittered the bfly.

Next, I fussy cut out the horse and girl, first I put on a large Heidi Swapp sticker, then added Funhouse papers over the whole rest of the card. I layered on the journal spot with some UCutIt foam, then added some more to the back of the horse/girl image.
I tied on some more of my Etsy Store seam binding- then tucked in a couple cutout tickets and a button, then stamped the sentiment and cut that out, and tucked it in.

Next I layered a strip of this diamonds paper over white cardstock and some Pebbles paper in teal. Then I added the cutout title of FUN to it, popping it up with UCutIt foam. I added a strip of Amer. Crafts orange tape, then layered on some of my white fabric letters sprayed with orange mist. I added a teal button with twine, also adding the tight bit of seam binding ribbon and tied it into a bow. I added the two bead sticks ( these are from the dollar store and are party picks) then I topped the bow with a tiny cork piece from Pink Paislee. I finished by adding glitter and marker lines around the edges of the card.

have a terrific day!
