Happy Thanksgiving to you all! I have to tell you it's been a crazy crazy week for me, trying to get projects done and I woke up early on Wednesday just not feeling ok. I felt like I couldn't breathe and was dizzy from trying. Long story short, I had hubby take me over to the ER just to be safe and basically found I was suffering from a sort of asthma attack, which I have had some experience with, but not in years and years. I have an inhaler and of course need to get my rest, my chest and back haven't been this sore since I had pneumonia many many years ago.
We had a lovely Thanksgiving up at my sister Kelly's house, with her family and my BIL's family. Laughter, great food and lots of wonderful conversations filled our day. If you are shopping today, I wish you safe travels. We have a tradition of staying put, putting on Christmas music, and decorating the house for the holidays.
Today over on the Pebbles blog we have the Gratitude theme to work with, and if you'll jump over there and comment, you can get in on the giveaway- a collection of your choice!!
With our theme of gratitude, I just had to make something for my daughter's teacher. The holidays are, of course, a time I want to share my gratitude for the extra steps that her teacher takes and often it's quite difficult to come up with a gift idea. I love the school house color theme of the Tree House collection, and thought that the big bold flowers would be the perfect touch to this quote canvas I was inspired to create. I made the matching card, with the perfect quote already printed on the 3x3 block. Bonus - one gift done before the holidays!

Glad to hear that your illness was nothing too major and that you are back to feeling a little more like yourself. As a teacher, I would LOVE to receive this as a gift!! Can you send it my way please??!! :) Thanks for the inspiration to make my kids teachers something beautiful and homemeade this year.
Those are both beautiful...thanks for sharing!!
