Wishing

I had more time to play some days. To keep adding new stuff, I'm just showing you one card at a time, but be assured I am creating things almost every day. And that I prefer to show you all these cards at once!
that being said, this card turned out nicely for me.

It is full of texture, something I LOVE, and I also love that I added rough texture to something so soft looking, the contrast is nice. I have been using my old 'hoarded' stash, stuff that was so neat or pretty I hated to use it, much of that being my handmade papers. This awesome burlap looking stuff is actually a raffia that has been woven and adhered to a paper background. Cool hunh?

I added this lovely green flower handmade paper , a bit of canvas I misted with Maya Road green and even half a doily I misted with some sunflower alcohol ink ( made my own mister). I topped all of that with swiss dots embossed kraft cut into a circle with scallop scissors. Then I stamped these butterflies in green, with the title, cut them out and popdotted the title on the card. I added ink around the edges of the card, tied on twine with a button and put a mulberry flower under my bow. ( can you believe everything on here could have been bought more then 5 years ago? )
Thanks for dropping in!

Love the green handmade paper. I used to have some like it in a different color. Might just have to find it.
