First today I want to mention that Pebbles is having a giveaway- you can see the details here.
next is something I recently found out about, how fun is this. I wish I could go, as I am a huge cricut fan!!
Click either to see them larger. This sounds like sooo much fun! I hope you'll consider going if you live in the area ( ps, I'd love to hear about it as well!)
And lastly for today, I have a couple cards to share with you.
I bought a 4x4 sheet of We R Memory Keepers paper. What I like about papers like that are that on the back is 4 blocks of different patterns, and the front is another. For a card maker like me, that gives me the most bang for my buck, and after cutting the sheet up, I got 3 cards out of it.
For this card, I added the paper to my card base, then topped it with an orange block of scrap cardstock. I added a small piece of the cloud paper, then added my corrugated cardboard on top, and added a tiny strip of the rainbow stripe punched with my scallop punch. See that bird, it was baby pink. I sprayed it with an orange mister and love that I could update this older Martha sticker. I tied on some twine with an orange button, and added a mix of BB and Amer. Crafts fabric stickers.
Next, was a super easy card, I added the paper to the card base, leaving a bit of a border at the top and bottom, then added on my cloud paper block. At the bottom I added this bit of paper diecut border- from Scibble Scrabble, and tied a little bit of yellow striped twine at the middle with a button.
I added two cloud stickers from Doodlebug, popped up with Glue Arts foam, then this old felt butterfly sticker from K&co. I topped it with BB letter stickers.
Lastly, this card gave me fits, I couldn't get it right. I added the WRMK papers, added in a bit of green cardstock and then sewed on the butterfly trail. I wish I would have embossed the paper first, it was too plain for my taste. I layered on some BB ribbon, then added a doily to my Reminisce sticker circles, adding a red one on top of the teal. I used Oct. After. letters for the greeting. Lastly, I added this cut out bfly from another Reminisce sticker, adding a button with twine to the top.
Thank you for coming by today, you have a week left for commenting to win those two big grab bag boxes worth at least $50. Please keep coming back, because in the next few weeks I have so much to share with you, you won't be disappointed!!
have a great friday!
