Good morning! I am here with a super easy but totally fabulous technique for fall.
I want to show you how I used a simple paper punch to create a pile of leaves to lay my photos in, doesn’t that sound like fun? How perfect of an embellishment is a beautiful fall colored crumpled leaf for your autumn layouts!
What I did was to use a jumbo maple leaf paper punch. I punched several leaves from Prep School and Curriculum papers, flipping some of the leaves over for the reverse side paper.
I crumpled them with my hands, trying to not tear them, and I adhered them around my photo mat ( made from corrugated cardboard). To make sure they stuck down well and didn’t add too much bulk to my layout, I double stitched around the mat on them as well.
Products used- Pink Paislee Old School Collection ( Back to school, Prep School, Curriculum, Goody Two Shoes, and Alphabet), Queen Bee – Bee Hive diecut paper, twine, buttons, tiny type letter stickers, Marvy Jumbo punch, scallop punch.
have a great day!
