Good Morning! With CHA going on this week, there just hasn't been a lot of people around has there? But I'm loving all the new sneaks I have been seeing around.
I wanted to share my news with you. Bobunny recently has had a design team call out, and this time it was for the whole team to reapply for our positions. I decided that Bobunny and I are going in different directions at this time, and although I have worked for them for over 6 years, that I was not going to reapply for the team. It was a difficult decision to make, and even harder to send them my resignation from the company, but I now feel truly happy that I made the right decision.
My decision should benefit you my dear readers sometime soon in the near future, as I will be reducing my stock of Bobunny ( products and collections that I have no use for.) and as my 50,000 blog hit gets closer, I plan to have some nice blog candy giveaways.
Last week I stopped in at Big Lots and found this cool Making Memories tape - i loved the flowers and you know anything kraft floats my boat. So once I started creating with it, I kinda had a hard time stopping!
it was so wonderful for vacation ideas, I ended up cutting out some of the flowers and popdotting them with my Glue Arts foam tape. I added some gems along with kraft I embossed with my cuttlebug and swiss dots folder. I added some Echo Park letters for the greeting.
Going along the same direction, I added a strip to another card blank, then added a tag made with kraft embossed with my swiss dots folder. I also added some of the paradise tape from the same package of MM tape. I cut out more flowers, added in more Echo Park letters and some gems then stapled my twine to keep it in place.
I really love the flowers, they are so neat, and I wanted to create a card with some type of gem in the centers.
so again, I added the tape to a card blank, this one aqua, and tore the paradise tape before adding it to the top of the card. I added a length of twine tied, and this October Afternoon journal spot popdotted with Glue Arts foam tape. I cut a single flower, and overlapped my Echo Park letters over top. I added pearls to all the flowers on the tape.
Next I created a card using Echo Park's new collection, Life is Good. I have been fortunate to win several collections from the company, and am loving all their new lines. I added the paper strips, then added several stickers, the sticker in the middle ( which is distressed) is surrounded with scrunched and pleated paper strips. I added a K&CO dimensional cupcake as well.
Lastly for you, today, I have this kite card. I made the card for the Cards Blog challenge, which I try to enter every week. I used kraft embossed with distressed lines. The paper and stickers are Echo Park, and I embossed with swirls then handcut and popdotted my clouds.
I hope you have a super terrific day!
