Cute fast Valentine Lollipop tags

well, it's coming up- and if you hurry - you can still make some adorable handmade items for the kiddos to give out for Valentine's Day. Although, I'm not sure we're going to have school at all this week, so my youngest may have to wait until after Valentine's to give them out. We've gotten about 24 inches of snow and are supposed to get perhaps another 24 inches, that's 4 feet of snow! my gosh!! it looks like the Sta-Puff Marshmallow Man exploded outside ( for you Ghostbusters fans)- with the winds and snow drifts, my front door had over 5 feet of snow piled in front of it.
If you know me, I don't like Winter much anywho, so this is just adding insult to injury to me!
Hopefully lil' A will get to give these to her classmates and teachers- we think the teachers should get as much if not more candy then the kids! LOL!
What I first did, was to open a document in my program- you can use Word or Photoshop. I made a small 1.5 inch square, then added the words Happy Valentine's Day, at the top. Then added from: Annalise down at the bottom, both in a nice red. I also created a square block I filled with red as well, and printed them out. I cut them into strips along the edges, and then cut them out individually with scallop scissors.

Annalise punched the flowers, added on the foam tape to the back of them, and added the flowers to the center of the red printed block. I punched a hole in the middle of the top, then added buttons with glue dots to the centers of the flowers. We tied the ribbons on to the lollipops, using scraps, and tied a knot, cutting off the ends.
DONE! sure- you could personalize them - I opted not to. And now we have adorable candy treats for everyone in her class.

Bye!
Kris
