I recently have started enjoying color challenges as well as sketch and theme challenges. Although, there are times when too many colors keep me from doing a challenge- so I really liked this weeks color chef challenge. Orange, Brown, Green and Cream or White - to simplify it.
I got out my scraps bin- everything here was scraps! I used Bobunny Dot cardstock. a little plain green paper, that I took a Bobunny stamp ( from Delilah) and used versamark ink to create a patterned paper. I also used an Inkadinkado stamp- and some deep orange ink from Colorbox, to create the stamped greeting. I added details with my deco scallop scissors around the circle punched greeting- popdotted that for dimension, and my Martha eyelet lace punch for the pretty borders.
I added a tiny bit of plain ribbon topped with an old mulberry flower and button. I also distressed the edges of the green, just for fun.
thanks for looking!
