Slipping in a quick challenge

Over at the CuttleBug Challenge Blog they are doing a red white and blue challenge with buttons and the swiss dots folder. So I thought I'd take a little bit and make a card to play along.
This card came together so quickly for me today! I used Dream Street papers- some of the MJ collection. I love that it has touches of brown in it to allow me to use some of the kraft cardstock as well. I used my swiss dots folder on the pinwheel and the lace punched borders at the top and bottom of the white strip, as well as on the banner itself. I used some old MM glittered letters- they are more shimmer then glitter for the greeting. You can see more detail in my close up- love how much dimension this card has! I also used a bit of bobunny gingham ribbon- am loving gingham lately! and some craft buttons and floss. I used a jumbo toothpick for the stick on the pinwheel as well.

Thanks for dropping in!
