Super Early Sunday

good morning- I'm sitting here- early for me- watching the sunrise fade up into the sky. the trees look gorgeous out there. thought I'd share this gift set that I just think turned out terrifically.
These were a focus for the bobunny blog, last minute christmas gifts. Check out the blog- there are some FABULOUS gifts- the girls are so incredibly talented on the team! And leave a comment- don't forget- cause they do giveaways all the time!
I am giving this note card set to Annalise's teacher - it's personalized with her first initial ( the teachers, not lil A's- hah ). This set took me about 2 hours to make including cutting out all the stamped birds, well worth the time to send in something really special for a great teacher.
And after I made it- I found a set of 50 cards/envelopes for $5 at walmart-so you could make several sets for way cheap.
Description- I made the gift bag, matching tags, two sets of matching cards ( just so she'd have different designs to pick from) and matching envelopes- this is a set of 10 total cards/envies. You know- a cute wrapped pen would have been good too- I'll have to see if I can find some scraps from this.
Materials- the papers are from Bobunny Sweetie Pie line- darling aren't they. The bird is from inkadinkado, buttons and hemp are crafty stuff, the swirly stamp is from Bobunny, and the letter is a generic letter set from Darice. I also used my largest circle punch. that's it- really- not a whole lot of cost here. scroll down for my other project.
I also made this hanging calendar on the cheap. I designed the chipboard with some scallops and cut it out, then added the Bobunny Sweetie Pie papers and did all the shaped stuff by hand- the trees and the heart. I added the stickers that match the collection, some bronze rubon months- also bobunny, bobunny ribbon and brads, and a couple prima flowers.
I made the date calendar in MSWord , but I just found a print out at Heartwarming Vintage if you google them with dates that looks like it would work.
Thought this would be nice to hang up at work or in the kitchen, office or something. Also could be a sweet teachers gift- I think our teachers would like it- esp someone like an art teacher or even the bus driver.

that's it for today- enjoy your sunday breakfasts! thanks for stopping by - please leave me a comment if you like my gift ideas!
