Tuesday - it's sketch time

nummy nummy - omygosh heaven. I thought of the idea to make these brownie bites a couple weeks ago. the only hard thing about them was finding rolos candy. sometimes they can be hard to find around here. I guess they aren't the most popular candy. I am thinking tho- that those little bite size milky way bars would be a good substitute here- tho they aren't round and as asthetically pleasing with the round fluted edges of the bites.

oh- you want to know what they are- Brownie Bites- basically a good brownie mix- I love Ghirardelli- but you could make your own or use another mix that you like. The bites have Rolo candy in them, so they are caramel and chocolate and fudgy delights!!

speaking of which- I found this adorable fluted edge pan at Joanne's - it's a Wilton product- silcone too- so even the ones that didn't want to pop right out- I could push them out. My guess is that they are more for small tarts- but hey- these morsels just pop right in your mouth!
this is the one-

I found that I liked them best- just out of the oven, when they were just cool enough to pick up- I sampled a few that way- ok- 5 or 6- but really- they were a great dinner! LOL!
after I made them and stored them- I just heated them in the nuker for a few seconds to warm them again. I could also see them piled on some melty vanilla ice cream!
hope you'll try them - the teachers certainly seemed too- one ate them for breakfast! LOL!

next- just as sweet- but not so chocolatey- is my sketch challenge for over at 2sketches4you.

I changed it up a bit this week- I went for a round card, added some bobunny scraps I had, a cricut cut scallop square, a prepunched glittery felt moon and stars, some buttons with twine, and a super super old Making Memories rubon. I also inked everything with some KaiserCraft ink.

I actually made this card first- for the bonus sketch from Carla there at 2S4Y. super scraps to the use on this one! colobok tearout journal paper, AtB saying, basic grey chipboard, I cut a flower from black felt and put in a doodlebug brad, some punched flower petals around the saying and some bobunny rubons finish it up.

thanks for dropping by today - and the winner for the World Card making day is....
