oh. maybe I shouldn't say that. and hope you all just think it's part of my quirky charm? HA!
anywho...
this morning I am sharing another Circle Blog project from several months ago.
I just want to say again, this is a project I made especially for the Cricut Circle Blog. If you want further information, details, instructions and more, you can go HERE to sign up to be a Circle Member!'
This turned out to be one of my most favorite projects eva. Lemme give you a little background. I used to be a professional cake decorator.
Not at one of those sleepy little places that hardly get any business. Where I worked we were BUSY!
I think home-based cake decorators are wonderful, but for myself, I just don't do it. It's so much work, the cost is very expensive to create your own cakes and icings, and the time to make, decorate, and clean up is ( to me) not worth the little extra income I could make.
So.... I don't do it. HOWEVER... I do love to play, and if it's a special occasion, then I'm willing to try something fun and new.
Which leads me to my project. Using the Cricut Cake Machine, some pie dough, and both Martha Stewart's All Occasion Cake Cart and the Cake Basics Cart. Basically, I cut the pie dough into shapes with my Cricut Cake machine.
I took this....
and turned it into this....
And let me tell you. The kids ATE this up! Not only was the fruit delicious, they ate the salad greens, they ate the pie crust ( which is sprinkled with sugar) and they loved every BIT of it.
Ok- now... I promised a winner for my birthday giveaway last week, which is a wonderful prize pack worth more then $50!!
I'm still having trouble with winner's not claiming prizes, so I guess I will have to put up these unclaimed prizes again. I truly have so much I want to put up for giveaways, I hope that if you are entering, you are coming back to check.
drum roll please.....
my winner is....

Love that you are using your Cricut. Such a great layout.
I am already a follower---and so glad that I am!
