I had these adorable monster stickers from Reminisce, what to do with them though? I wasn't sure. Well, you can guess, I'd grown tired of seeing them in my supplies box and just wanted to use them up. I got them out and decided I would attempt something with them. I'm pretty happy with the results!
This card actually has a peep hole in it. I punched the hole out, adding a thin zigzag border around it. Inside the card is green paper with this little monster peeking out. I used Word and created a callout, which I also printed for my greeting, and just cut it out and popdotted it to the front of my card. I also added my scallop border made with circles, and an extra circle holding my folk stars. I added half a monster border sticker as well and really like how colorful and cute the card turned out.
I printed another callout with this monstrous saying, and added more green Anna Griffin paper to some Bobunny paper. I added my larger monster, and the rest of the monster border to my card, even adding a button/twine bow to the little green guy. I think these are great little boy cards! or maybe a girl friend would like one?
Then I went in a totally different direction. I had these old stash Bobunny papers in my scraps box, and loved how rich and pretty they are. I knew I wanted to cutout and layer them for my card as well. I took an old template to cut out the tag shape. then fussy cut three flowers and one leaf out. I popdotted them and put them on my tag. I added a couple buttons/twine as well. Then I layered the reverse papers with a few thin strips of the paper, adding a bit of lace to the bottom border. I used a MM rubon, cutting out a oval shape and adding the scallop edge to it.
Thanks for looking at my cards today! Have a great day!
Kris
