5days/5 looks/5 cards- Card 2

Hello friends! Today is day two of my 5 days/5 cards posting., this card I think is my favorite of the 5 cards. If you have been coming to my blog for a while, you will know I ADORE this color combo, bright blue, orange and lime- swoon- are just my most favorite colors. I'm a happy girl to get to work with any of them and to have all three- the BEST!!
Again, I took my Hero Arts Poppy stamp and stamped it- several times on scrap cream cardstock, and once on a larger piece. I took spray mist and sprayed turquoise at the top and lime at the bottom of the cardstock after I had stamped the flowers. I am using Stazon ink so the ink doesn't bleed..
The lime paper is Girl's Paperie- oh- all the papers I am using in this set of 5 cards are SCRAPS!! yay me!! :)
and the flower blue is GCD studios. I punched the blue flower paper with my EKsuccess punch  and then layered my pieces on the background. I have been loving that additional look I am getting using my cloud scissors to trim my corners. I added some of my pumpkin crinkled ribbon - from my etsy store- and made a bow with an orange button and twine

After I stamped my flowers on cream cardstock, I used watercolor pencils to color them in, getting the darkest shades by wetting the pencil tip and coloring. I then let them dry. I stamped the sentiment- from another Hero Arts set- along the side of the card, and accented it with two pearls. I then fussy cut out all the flowers and popped them up with UCutIt foam from Glue Arts. Lastly I added pearls to all the flowers.

Thanks for checking out card 2 today!
