A couple small new cards

Good morning my fabulous friends! I am sitting here this morning, in the calm, after the hustle of getting Alizabeth off to school, Annalise has a dr's appt and we've had a couple of weeks of the sick bug hanging around the house, first with Alizabeth getting bronchitis and now Annalise (I'm afraid it might be strep) and thinking. I have several projects I've begun working on, a couple cards I can share with you, and a lot of crafting items that are just needing to find a home. Wishing it would just warm up, I'm sick of the cold and crave a warm breeze on my face. I have a couple huge stacks of paper and stickers etc.. that I need to sort through, plus get prepared to do a craft show coming up at the end of April. I desperately need some shelving to hold my creations until they are accepted for publication or not :). I have a ton of boxes that need to be broken down and put away. I have gotten several boxes in the mail lately, with publications and goodies, which is so nice, but it seems that just when I've gotten it all put away, I get several boxes and have to decide what I'm keeping and what is going for sale or giveaways. Some of it I have no idea what to do with. I've gotten some of these Tattered Angles Chalkboard paints, Glitter Glam, and Glimmer Glazes. I will have to see what they can do before I can decide about it. Perrhaps I can find out and show you what I can come up with!

So I guess in the meantime, I just have two mini cards I can share with you.
I have cut some card blanks down in half, so they are about 3x5 inches. These are from my Orange and Pink mood day, I added some orange paper printed with the Imagine Machine, and the Blast Off cart. I used that to mat the card, and trimmed it with my mini scallop scissors. I added the strip of pink from gcd across the card. Then I used a label diecut from Sizzix ( tim Holtz) and popped that up with UCutIt foam from Glue Arts. I also stamped the Basic Gray stamps and fussy cut them and popped them up with more UcutIt. I added a prima rose to the teapot and tied on some Twinery pink twine to a tag I stamped from the same BG stamp set. I made the gorgeous double orange crinkled ribbon and tied it on the card with a pink button and twine.

This mini was made with the other half of the card blank, I added some glittery Amer. Crafts rick rack ribbon to it, and added a bit of that gcd paper to the end, scallop punching it first. I added the other diecut sizzix label from the die, and popped that up with my UCutIt foam. I stamped the Basic Gray floral stamp and popped it up after fussy cutting it out. I added two buttons to the ends of the label. Then i added a bow and flower with twinery twine. The greeting was a leftover from a set I created and I added it to the card along with a few gems.

Sweet little cards that I hope will be enjoyed!
thanks for coming by today!
