Saturday and a new giveaway!

Welcome back! Do you have any great plans for the weekend? Hubby and I ( with the kids help) are taking up the tile floor in my kitchen and hoping to get new wood laminate down. The tile is being so tough, we may still end up working on this project for a couple weekends.
Today, yep, several more ornaments. I tell you, I had such fun creating  with this Tinsel and Twig line the other day, I had to stop myself from using every little scrap up. I still have enough to make a couple cards, so happy about that! I think what I love so much about it is that it's vintage-y without being so in your face vintage!! I've said before that I love the touches of music lines in these papers. I'm so inspired by my ornaments, I'm thinking of changing one of my christmas trees ( I have several themed trees) into a vintage tree this year. Lots of creams and lace, wouldn't that be precious?

First, today, is this pretty red star, again, I used an older Star mini album just separated. I traced the star and added my red paper, then topped it again with several more layers and stitched it into place.  I then layered a circle sticker from the collection, and added on two of the smaller circle stickers, trimming the top one with my zigzag scissors, and made them into a snowman. I added a felt scarf and button to him. Then I added a couple strip stickers and topped them with some jingle bells. I added a ribbon bow, a flat brad from Anna Griffin and some berry stems, with a small pearl accent.

This ornament, I made for my hubby- it has no glitter- he can't stand glitter!!

Next, another vintage looking star. I used more papers, and a little of that old Flair vellum printed with music. I added a punched accordion and topped that with a circle sticker. I topped a flower with a flat brad- Anna Griffin - and added the rose brad to the top of that ( I pulled the brad backing off) then I added a couple pearl berry stems, and topped this ornament with a gold ribbon and jingle bell. To finish I added a tiny sprinkled trio of red pearls.

Inside the star I spread some Red Stickles , I love how subtle the glitter is on this one. I also edged everything with some brown ink.

Annalise my youngest loves bright colors, pink is her favorite! So I made her this fun folk star. Again, I used an old chipboard album. I layered some of that pretty music vellum behind and topped the star with the green dot paper, then added on some of the striped paper. I used a journal cut out circle, then topped that with the Amer. Crafts letters in fabric and gliter. I added two bows at the bottom along with jingle bells, and a flat brad topped with a couple gems.

Bright and pretty - that's my baby girl!!

Lastly for today, would you like to win another cartridge?
Again, please become a follower and leave me a comment. I will run this giveaway until Saturday, Nov. 20th. This time, if you have a Cricut Imagine, or are planning on getting one, would you like to have this fabulous new cartridge?( US and Canadian residents only, please)
I have an extra Best Friends Art Cartridge, I'd love to share with you!!

 have a terrific Saturday!!
