Happy Friday

Hello! I have a few beautiful things to share with you today. First I have to tell you, I have been so spoiled with receiving wonderful packages of beautiful things in the mail lately. I am so blessed to be working with the companies I am working for! I will be back later this afternoon to announce the winner of my Plantin Cartridge, and tomorrow I have ANOTHER GIVEAWAY to share with you!! I feel like Santa Claus, in fact, since my name is Kris, just call me Kris Kringle- hahaha!!
I received some gloriously beautiful The Girl's Paperie papers as part of a sponsorship from the Circut Circle Blog. In this package were some papers from the Tinsel and Twig line, and let me tell you, what a stunning collection! I have to say, in the papers , near and dear to my heart, are my oldest daughters favorite things. The collection features lines of music. And Alizabeth is a very talented flutist, and adores just listening to music as much as she can, so anything musical makes her happy!
Of course, I had to make an ornament especially for her!  I used a chipboard star album, I believe it was Maya Road. I simply used each star as their own ornament. I also backed these with paper so if they are seen from behind they are basically decorated.
I took some old old old printed vellum ( flair) and trimmed it to the size of the star, cut out with deco scissors. I also trimmed two smaller star with the Tinsel and Twig papers, one in green and one in cream pattern. I adhered them to my star with liquid glue, then stitched them with my sewing machine. I added the music note accordion, and of course, you can see I inked the edges of things with a brown ink pad. I added my little corrugated cardboard, trimmed the edges off with corner rounders and inked the whole thing. I adhered everything else with my GLUE ARTS Glue Gun. I added this Teresa Collins ribbon bow, adding a Petalloo brown flower, then some old brass jingle bells. I added a couple Tinsel and Twig stickers, then a few berry stems in white. I finished by adding Cherry Ice Stickles around the stars inside edge.

Don't forget, if you want a super large pic, just click on any image to see these bigger.

Alizabeth LOVES this ornament, and I know she'll adore it.
Back later with more ornaments!
