A few new cards today

I have some new projects I made the other day. Remember when I posted all those star ornaments with the Girls' Paperie? well I made one more ornament, this butterfly. Again, I took apart a shaped mini album this one again was from Maya Road. I love butterflies, they are one of my favorite embellishments, so I just had to play with this one.

I added some Paper Girl to the background, then stitched around it. I added some of the Tinsel and Twig paper over top and just edged around that with a pen. Then I added the accordion in the middle, topping that with another cardstock accordion. I tucked in lots of berry and glittered leaf stems I bought for less then $1 at the craft store, and I added that pretty black Teresa Collins ribbon bow at the top.
I put some of the Tinsel and Twig stickers layered in the middle of the accordion and added a folded flower, and some more berries and a couple green gems. This is going to look so pretty hanging on our tree, esp with the bits of glitter on it.

Next, again, through terrific sponsorhip on the Cricut Circle Blog, Echo Park sent their new Little Boy line for us to work with. I"m sure I will revisit this again, but I pulled the papers and stickers out and played a bit with the line. I created several cards. You can see I shabby up the sticker borders, this gives them dimension and a 3d effect, I just pull and bend the paper up. I also cut out a bit of Crate paper using my Cricut and Storybook cart, cutting several brackets out. I popped up the boat sticker with a bit of Glue Arts Ucutit foam, and then added the letter stickers and a button to the boat.

This big fun sticker was just crying out to be put on a card. I handcut the card using a card blank, then embossed it with my polka dots folder. I simply added the sticker, a few stars and the sweet sticker. then finished with a button/twine.

Another cute bright baby card,I love the cloud sticker here, and cut out the labels from one of the papers, I punched a star, added the oh baby and popped up the BABY letter stickers. again, I shabbied the border sticker and popped up the cloud with Glue Arts UCutIT foam.

Lastly, I had this card partially made, but just finished it when I realized I had the perfect color letter stickers, I added them on, and topped them with some Girls Paperie tiny letters, a dollar store satin flower, button, May Arts ribbon leaf and some twine. The journal spot and sticker are October Afternoon and I added glitter to the flowers. I finished with a couple red pearls.

that is all for today!
thanks!
