Behind the holiday weekend

Good morning to you! I am sorry I didn't post my Saturday winners this weekend! But I decided that since I wasn't feeling all that well, and we didn't have any big plans, to simply enjoy the weekend and post these today instead. We had a wonderful weekend, decorating the house and yesterday we all sat around the table and chocolate dipped creations. We made lots of chocolate covered pretzels, pretzel logs, Double and Reg. Stuff Oreos, I even experimented and dipped some of those cheese/peanut butter crackers ( crazy sounding hunh- but they are like a wafer with peanut butter in them, and were really fun and tasty) then I took a bunch of broken pretzels, the rest of the chocolate, some peanuts and some dried cranberries and mixed them all up to make a chocolate drop. Those were really tasty too!
today, I do have some winners for you, but first I'd like to share MyStampBox cards from this month.

First I shared this card on the MyStampBox blog, sharing my technique of stamping on canvas. I used a scrap of a canvas tote that was stained on one side, so I cut it up and used the back side for scraps. It makes a nice simple card design, with lots of pretty texture. I also used Echo Park's Christmas papers, some Pebbles Candy Dots and Twinery Twine. I used this adorable Santa stamp from their HOHOHO stamp set.

Next was a card for Canadian Remembrance day, using red, I just made a fun flirty card instead, and I sewed a puffy felt heart for the card, also sewing on some buttons, wouldn't that be a cute pin to give as well? I love the turquoise and red color combo. I used a bit of American Crafts ribbon and Cosmo Cricket papers and journal spot. I stamped the word Wink from the Sigh Gush Gasp set  all over the cream cardstock.

Again, I used the HoHoHo set to stamp this fun kraft card, I used white ink, and lightly colored in with color pencils. I added some of my favorite corrugated cardboard, and added the two American Crafts stickers to finish the card off.

Lastly, I stamped again on kraft cardstock, using the Colorful Companions set, and stamping in white. I cut out some of the butterflies and popped them up with Glue Arts UCutIT foam, then added on a bit of Echo Park Paper, and some twine. two pearls top each butterfly and I stamped the celebrate from another stamp set from Hero Arts.

Now, on to the fun and exciting stuff. My winners......drum roll please.....

Winner no 1- who wins the Echo Park Merry Christmas pack is....
