Friday Morning!

 Happy Happy Friday!

I'm going to let the comments run through 8 am this morning for my drawing for the two blog candy packages I am giving away. Later on today I will chose my two winners from the last couple of weeks.
Stop back in a little while for my BIG BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!

For now, I have two cards that I would like to share with you. I recently have joined the MyStampBox team and am just thrilled to be able to share my cards with you today.

First - the card above, I used Colorful Companions to stamp onto gcd studios paper, then cut out the butterflies. I layered the blocks of paper - plain and patterned on the card, added this scrap of black block. I accordion folded two strips of paper, cutting one with my scallop scissors. Then I added them overlapping on the block. I tied on the twine, and punched a circle with my ek punch. I added my letters on the scallop circle, and I finished the butterflies with pearls.

Next I used the same stamps, just another butterfly, stamped with brown ink, and then cut out. I used some old scraps of WRMK papers, layered them on this dark brown card base. I punched the notebook paper edge on the orange block, then added the envelope flap to the top. I added a brown button I already had tied with the twine, then added my butterflies around the card.  I used Am. Crafts letter stickers for the greeting, and finished the butterflies with pearl centers.

Come back in a bit!!

Rexann, I use a Scor It board- there are several versions out there, but scoring the paper with a tool really makes the job go quicker and it all stays straight and even.
