GCD Studios Blog Hop

Hello! I am so pleased to be a part of gcd studios blog hop! We are sharing some super fun chipboard necklaces today.
from here you will hop on over to a very talented lady's blog- Jamie Harder. 

Each gcd studios necklace looks like this.

 The insert is the fun part, you can customize this to be anything you like! And even better, you can use the ChipArt Tools on it!
I used the rectangle necklace, and my ChipArt tool with Fleur ( rose) and Squiggle stamps. I painted it black and then used rubon metallic creams to accent it and make it look metallic.
For the chipboard bird- also gcdstudios, I used the mini shapes leaf, which looked like a feather to me. I painted the bird blue and the branch brown, then dry brushed the brown with a mix of brown and white, and added some teal color to the bird, gave him a beak and eye.

I put the rectangle together inside the necklace part, and I added gloss medium to the whole piece to make it look like enamel. I added a chain behind the piece and added a heart with several bead and charm strands. I also added a small teal wooden bead to the front top of the rectangle charm.
