birthday birthday

today, I'm playing it fast and loose, gonna show you TWO cards. The excitement is overwhelming!
I feel overwhelmed don't you? wait. don't answer that.

Ok, really. I figured I'd just go ahead and show these to you today.  Since I had an odd amount of cards. I'm hoping to actually get to do a few more cards this week, we'll see.

This one turned out to be my fav of the two. I used Cosmo Cricket papers, and the beautiful diecut as well. I also used my favorite corrugated cardboard, I am a recycler at heart I think, and added my ribbon to the cardboard. I used foam tape to pop up the diecut, then added in some crafty cream flowers ( just buy the stems and you get tons of flowers - most in different sizes!)  then I added on the green buttons with twine ties, and the stamped word is from Hero Arts.

This one turned out pretty, but somewhat plain. Again, I used Cosmo Cricket, added this distressed stripe embossed kraft in a rectangle block, then I knotted my twine around the base. I cut out the flowers, and the diecut bracket is from Doodlebug, and added K&Co letters. Then I added a twine button strip to the top. Pretty simple and easy card. Oh, I popdotted the flowers and the frame just to let you know.

thanks for dropping by! have a fabulous day!

Both cards turned out great! I buy flowers like that too. Great way to save. Love the shabby element the corrugated paper adds to the prettyness of the card.
