More Cosmo Cricket

I'm back with some more wonderful Cosmo Cricket- I mentioned that Glue Arts sent me as a team member a package and in an exchange was able to get us team members some terrific Cosmo Cricket kits. This kit is called Joy Ride, and all the patterned papers etc.. that I used today are from the kit.

I thought this card would be a nice encouragement card, about the journey and someone who could be close to meeting their goal, perhaps a nice card to get during finals at school. I cut the note to self block from the blocks paper, and added a little strip - almost there- from one of the bottoms of the paper that you cut off. I also used my distresser tool and corner rounder on the outside corners. I cut this strip of kraft cs with a martha cutting tool with a scallop blade. I also cut the car out of the blocks, adding foam tape to pop it up. I used my MM tiny type letters for the greeting. I also added my usual button and twine.

This Hi Card is just a lot of fun layers, with patterned paper, border strips, the number paper and a corrugated paper cut into circles. I added twine at the fold and added my button to that bow. I also cut out the Hi with my scallop scissors and popped it up with foam tape. I added this small sticker with foam tape at the bottom and added my MM tiny type letters for the greeting.

Another encouragement card, this one perhaps would be good for someone who is having difficulty along the way. I distressed my teal block, adding an orange one with scallop scissors. I tore a strip of orange and added a piece of corrugated cardboard I recycled and tore the top paper from, then cut into a scalloped oval. I crumpled and cut down the border strip, so that I could put the words across my card to fit. I cut out the car, popdotting that. I added a flower made with button and twine. I also added a couple stickers at the bottom of the card.

Another birthday card, this one just so cute for a little boy! you could even circle the correct age number on the bottom strip. I cut out the helicopter and pop dotted that and the arrow. I cut my red paper in a half circle, adding a strip of corrugated paper across the bottom. I cut the word Zoom out and added that to the corrugated strip as well. I used MM tiny type letters for the greeting.

Smile, what a cute little camera on this sticker, adding it to the black paper, and cutting it out with scallop scissors. I added this strip of paper in a banner shape, layering a strip of corrugated paper on top. I also added this strip of martha cornice punched paper, and of course the background block is simply cut with a black paper scalloped mat. I added a twine and button flower to the edge of my card.

Thanks for stopping by today- hope you have enjoyed my cards today!
