Colorbok set

While I was out shopping over the weekend, we ran into the Big Lots store. Sometimes they have some nice deals. I was able to get this fun, funky paper and punch out set.  To me it's totally teen, so I made several cards with it today.

This set features some metallic prints- the stripe and star are metallic silver. I added some scraps of Bobunny to my cards, this one some light blue dot cardstock and some Tis the season scraps. I also sewed around the edge of the card, and added some gems to the small punch out spots.

This card uses all the little tags that came with the set. I used some plain stripe paper, and a bit of bobunny wild berry red that I cut with scallop scissors. I added the tags, adding small gems to the center top of each tag. I also added two photo corners, to finish the card.

I thought this drum set punch out was just great, so I added it to this frame, adding in a bit of blue and pink BB dot cardstock, and scalloped the edges of the pink. I added this label and put two dark red gems on each side. I then added these stars with foam tape at the top corner. Wouldn't this be a great teen card? My oldest is a tween, but really into music so this would be perfect for her!

I thought this grungy card would work for a boy, yeah, it has a bit of pink in it, but aren't the boys wearing that a lot still? I layered the punchouts on this circle part, adding a scallop edge and popping up the star. I also popped up the smaller stars and added a few staples to finish it off.

This card has lots of layers, from the blue and red BB dot cardstock, to the layered page tabs, I even layered the frames and added more on top, with the drum set label and the word super star. Again, I added gems to the label and foam tape to the stars, plus I grunged it up with a bit more black inking around the edges of the card and cardstock.

Last but not least today, I made a card that could be for anyone. The light blue paper has a thin metallic outline. I added this scallop edge of red BB dot cardstock, adding a thin twine bow between the two papers.
I layered on some circle punch outs, adding these vine shapes to the edge and adding the laugh label. I added a cut out butterfly and some black BB gems to the label.

I have tons of this set left, but was getting bored with it. I hope to go back to it and continue making more cards or projects with it. I hope you have enjoyed my coordinating cards, but perhaps they will inspire you to create several cards with the same collection, in a variety of ideas.
have a great day!
