Birthday cards

I had the yen to make some cards today, and was able to complete several of them with some of the same embellies and colors.
Generally I enjoy making cards several at a time, using the scraps I have in front of me so that I can move on, getting rid of the tiny scraps when I am finished.
I bought a few new things this week, this butterfly stamp included. I love butterfly stamps- they are just so beautiful and versatile.
For this first card, I used Bobunny Alyssa line scraps, adding a little Reminisce black dot paper.
I sewed some satin I had laying around, into a round. I layered K&CO glitter chipboard, and a Bobunny button on top. I also used some of my 'famous' corrugated cardboard, cut into a half banner. I printed my greeting out on some white paper, and cut the edge to match the banner edge. I scalloped my black edge, and added the two butterflies up at the top of the card with some pink gems on their bodies.

This card I made with some clearance stickers from Valentine's day, they are from ATD ( from Momenta) and I thought they were fun, but wanted to use them in a different way - since I've made all the Vday cards I wanted to make this year. First I added some Bobunny paper ( red dot) then I added a layer of Reminisce glitter paper- this stuff is gorgeous! I scalloped that paper edge, and added my corrugated cardboard on top. I put the stickers on- they are slightly layered, and are puffy as well.
Then I added my greeting with MM tiny type letters.

This card I made with the same papers, adding in the Reminisce black dot paper, with the glitter paper, just added in a mat and a strip as well. Then I added some of this rugged stripe embossed white cardstock, then added in the bobunny dot cardstock, edged with my mini scallop scissors.
Then I layered on the stamped butterflies. I added in the Colorbok black chipboard letters, and a printed out greeting that I added the banner edge to. I added the gems to the butterfly bodies.

For this card, I used my butterfly stamp to make the background paper. I used the Reminisce black paper for the background, and a border I cut off a diecut paper from My Mind's Eye. I also added a block of Bobunny dot cardstock, with distressed edges. I added the stamped butterfly, the printed out greeting I cut into a banner and I added this half square of gems around it.

Thanks for coming by today!
